The company claims to be a world leader in the use of functional genetics utilising mouse KO technology, and has established a pipeline of patent protected, small molecule tractable targets with defined therapeutic utility such as G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), ion channels, proteases and transporters. As of Q4 2005, the company website stated that the company had identified over 1000 potential drugable targets, of which more than a quarter were undergoing biological validation.
